U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Benefits Officers Development and Outreach (BODO) of Retirement Services has a need for a single facility in downtown Pittsburgh, PA to conduct a three-day benefits training event which will provide a series of workshops on Retirement, Insurance, Social Security, and Thrift Savings Plan Administration.


A potential source will be required to secure a space to be held on one of the following dates:
March 17 - 19, 2020
March 24 - 26, 2020
March 31 - April 2, 2020


The site must have a room (Ballroom or Auditorium) that can hold at least 350 attendees and have at least 6 training rooms that can accommodate at least 50 people per room for all days of the training sessions. In addition, whatever site is selected, all rooms must be well lit, well ventilated, free from distracting noise, and handicap accessible. A location within walking distance to restaurants, shops, public transportation and other local attractions is preferred.


A potential source must provide answers to the attached questionnaire. Submit responses via email to Michael Ashworth, Contracting Officer at [email protected]. The submission should be received by 12:00 pm Eastern Time, Tuesday, October 1, 2019 and should not exceed five (5) one-sided, 8 1/2" X 11" pages. NO HARD COPY OR FACSIMILE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Cover letters and extraneous materials (brochures, general capability statements, etc.) will not be considered.
