This is to notifiy you that the process for the referenced Invitation to bid: UNDPSO-ITB-2018-012 – Provision of Armed and Unarmed Security Guards to the United Nations Common Compounds in Garowe, Puntland and Hargeisa, Somaliland has been concluded as follows:

1. Lot 1: Provision of Armed and Unarmed Security Guards to the United Nations Common Compounds in Garowe, Puntland: Cancelled. The cancellation is as a result of a significant change in the Terms of Reference specifically from requiring international armed guards to national armed guards, and in addition, were limited budgetary concerns for UNDP Somalia.

2. Lot 2- Provision of Unarmed Security Guards to the United Nations Common Compounds in Hargeisa, Somaliland: In progress.

The UNDP Somalia will re-advertise the ITB for Lot 1 in due course.

The UNDP will directly communicate bidders who responded to the referenced ITB on the outcome of Lot 2 once the process is complete and the award is made.
