For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines and procedures for Investment Project Financing.   The Ministry of Education, Arts & Culture now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for The construction of four (4) new Small Workshops, including ablution facilities, for various training activities; The construction of a new Centre Admin. Building; The construction of a new Classroom Block consisting of two (2) classrooms, one (1) female locker room with showers and ablutions and one (1) male locker room with showers and ablutions; The construction of a new Guardhouse; The construction of a new three-story high students residence; External works comprising interlocking of roads and parking areas, and paving of walkways. The site is located in Keetmanshoop, //Kharas Region, Namibia. The construction period is eighteen (18) months. There is no margin of preference   Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding (International), OCBI  procedures as specified in the Bank’s Procurement Framework 2, Bank Procurement Methods and Procedures (Bank’s PMP’s), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.         Interested eligible Bidders may obtain fu rther information from the Ministry of Education, Arts & Culture, Mr. Siegfried Kandjavera (Project Procurement Specialist) ETQIP, e-mail: [email protected] and inspect the bidding document during office hours 08:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m. at the address given below.   The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of NAD 600.00.
