Description

Overview :

Belize acceded to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) in December 2016. The UNCAC Self-Assessment often takes place following the ratification of or accession, both to feed into the UNCAC Review Mechanism and to assist the government identifying compliance issues and subsequently prioritize and sequence its anti-corruption reforms

Recognizing the need for the public to understand what corruption is and thus being able to identify such taking place in their daily lives, basic editorial cartoons in local newspapers will be geared towards information dissemination creating a public awareness in understanding the various terminologies that constitute corruption, thus creating a nexus with the implementation of UNCAC in Belize at the local level.

Expected outputs is therefore, to design and create eight (8) visual depictions (sketches, drawings, illustrations etc.) outlining the basic terminologies of corruption based on established guidelines
