Description

In order to improve efforts to monitor progress in health financing at the country level, WHO’s health financing team is developing a series of progress matrices based around the different functions of health financing policy. The objective of this exercise is get closer to real-time monitoring, in other words to be able to assess more systematically whether countries are moving in a positive direction i.e. towards UHC, whilst recognizing that there are many pathways which represent progress.
