II.2.4) Description of the procurement

The full installation shall comply with the conditions laid down in the Standard Conditions of Contract contained within the provided Bill Guide, Drawings, Work Notes, Schedules, costs as per covid-19 addended documentation for onsite special measures and Specifications.

It is highly recommended that tenderers visit the site to familiarise themselves with the full extent and nature of the works required and all current covid 19 measures as no reparation/additions can be paid at a later date for the lack of such knowledge.

School Summer Holiday Works. Phase 2. Remove existing. Supply and fit new LTHW radiators and Sanivite internal drainage pumps, including all new drop fed pipework, connecting into existing F & R pipework, controls, supports, fixings, wastes, bottle traps,valves, new foul waste soil vent/waste pipes, external stacks, AAV's and all accessories. Fit only supplied sink tops, taps, waste, chain & stays. All as per general notes, specifications required and drawings for classroom upgrade M(5-)001, 4655985 (2-), M(5-)002, 4655985(52) 01 and as attached.

Tenderers must complete Sub-Contractor's requirements on page 23 or their tender shall be deemed Non-Compliant.

Tenderers should note that associated builder/making good work forms part of their tender and their submission must reflect this, as no additions shall be accepted for the exclusion of same.

Please note Conditions of Contract item 1.6: - Fife Council Building Services shall not be providing any skips, scaffolding, access platforms or mechanical lifting/hoisting facilities. These items must be provided by the sub-contractor (where required) and the costs thereof included in the tender price.

The Tender Price submitted shall be the Fixed Price for the Contract as no additional costs will be accepted unless prior instruction and approval has been received.
