UN ESCAP requests Expressions of Interest from duly qualified and experienced firms, partnerships or joint ventures for the provision of Custodial and Janitorial services at the United Nations Building, located at Rajadamnern Nok Ave, Bangkok, 10200. 1.1 The services to be provided under the scope of Custodial and Janitorial services are grouped into four (4) Lots (Service Categories) for this bidding exercise. UN ESCAP will reserve the right to split an eventual award between any service providers in any combination of Lots as it may deem appropriate. 1.2 Within the scope of the Custodial and Janitorial Services Contract, the contractor(s) shall provide numerous services for the following facilities: a) Secretariat Building: a building of 2 blocks A and B, and a central core, each of 15 storeys above ground, connected by a service core block with a total gross floor area of approximately 1,580 square metres on each floor. b) Service Building: a building of 6 storeys above ground with a total gross floor area of approximately 2,200 square metres on each floor. c) Conference Centre: a building of 4 storeys above ground with a total gross floor area of approximately 30,000 square metres. d) Car parking areas, maintenance workshops and service areas: Square metres (approx.) a) Secretariat Building - 1 floor 2,000 b) Service Building - 3 floors 7,000 c) Conference Centre - 2 floors 20,000 d) external walk and roadways - 3,000 1.3 The official operating hours of the buildings are (but not restricted to) 07:00 AM to 05:00 PM, Monday through Friday. 1.4 During the contract period, it is expected that the Secretariat building is under major renovation/construction. The typical floors of the Secretariat building, based on the construction phase, will be occupied by the General Contractor responsible for the renovation project. Therefore, reduction in the scope of services not required in the construction spaces will be taken into consideration. 1.5 The contractor shall provide a brief description and/or information regarding corporate experience within the last five (5) year which are related or relevant to similar nature of services required under SOW. Company Profile needs to indicate permanent representation and technical support in Thailand. Lots - Service Categories are described below: LOT-1 Provision of complete and full cleaning services Provision of all pest control services Provision of miscellaneous services and consumables LOT-2 Provision of Waste Management Services LOT-3 Provision of indoor and outdoor plant and gardening services LOT-4 Provision of drinking water supply and inventory management
