Services relating to the professionalization of public procurement in Cyprus

The Treasury of the Republic of Cyprus adopted the policy to professionalize Public Procurement function. To this end, the Treasury decided to initiate a reform for the introduction of a professionalization scheme for procurers, including academic and practical certification in the process of re-engineering the procurement structure in Cyprus. The end task is to create a pool of professional procurers able and competent to employ the right methodologies to horizontally undertake or support procurement activity for all contracting authorities, ensuring the horizontal coverage of the majority of Cypriot public procurement market both in number of procedures and in value.
