AUSTENDER NOTICE - DEFENCE FUEL TRANSFORMATION PROGRAM - FUEL SUPPLY CONTRACT - NOTICE 1

FOR INFORMATION

The Fuel Supply Contract RFT will be a limited approach to market, on the basis of essential National security interests, in accordance with paragraphs 2.6 and 9.9 of the Commonwealth Procurement Rules. Companies that are eligible for the Fuel Security Services Payment, under the Fuel Security Act 2021 (Cth) will be invited to tender. Tenderers should refer to the specific conditions for participation in the relevant Conditions of Tender when released. 

The Notice for the DFN Managing Contractor RFT is being issued in parallel to this notice, via AusTender.

Tenderers are directed to review the ATM Documents attached to this Notice.

Defence anticipates releasing the Fuel Supply RFT in early February 2022. The Fuel Supply Contract RFT will have an open period of 6 weeks. 

The release date for this RFT, and the proposed open period, is indicative only and may be subject to change at the discretion of Defence.
