Tender Details

Applications are invited for qualified providers to operate the Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) at Engadine West Public School.  The current P&C based service is being relinquished to an external provider.

Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender. Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

Additional Details / Instructions

Due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be no Site Inspection.  See attached site photographs and Builders compliance drawings.

The National Standards for OSHC set down the minimum standards necessary to ensure that OSHC services provide a safe, nurturing and developmental experience for the children and provide the foundations for current and future systems of Quality Assurance. These standards address; facilities, health & safety, staffing (including staff to child ratios), service procedures (policies, programs etc.) and administrative functions required to operate an OSHC service.

OSHC services are regulated by the Department of Education Early Childhood Education.  Please refer to the Department of Education web page for more information; https://education.nsw.gov.au/early-childhood-education.

Interested tenderers submitting an application to this Request for Tender (RFT) must ensure that they (and by extension, associated entities in any other State of Australia and proposed staff) are able to comply with ALL conditions of this RFT document and all relevant Regulations and Acts including Privacy Act at all times.

There are mandatory conditions that apply throughout the tender process and the Agreement entered into by the tenderer if successful.

Any non-compliance issues occurring during the tender process may result in rejection of the proposal by the Department and/or termination of the Licence Agreement if the latter is executed.

Only information submitted in the Tender Response Schedules will be assessed.  Do not include any attachments unless requested in the Response Schedules.
