NOTICE OF INTENT: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Perry Point, MD, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Atlantic Broadband Management to provide cable television signal and service to the Perry Point campus for patient television programs, for 200 patient beds at the Perry Point VA Medical Center. This requirement is limited to only one vendor as Atlantic Broadband Management is the only cable signal provider who services Perry Point area for cable-based televisions service. There has to be cable service to the campus as opposed to antenna based signals because there is a very low quality signal with an antenna based system and will not get all of the channels that can offer our residents variety and educational value. The NAICS code 515210 applies. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or a request for offerors. No solicitation package is available at this time. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received no later than 1:00 PM (EST) on September 21, 2021. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Responses must be emailed to: [email protected]
