Trade Agreement: CETA/WTO-AGP/CPTPP/CFTA/FTAs with Peru/Colombia/Panama/Korea/UK Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Best Overall Proposal Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: DRS Engineering, Electrical, Assemb W0142-23X001/A Baessler, Nancy Telephone No. - (306) 241-2826 Fax No. - (418) 566-6167 Line 1, DRS Engineering, Electrical, Assembly and Repair For the purposes of this procurement, Canada is acting as AGENT for the British Army Training Unit Suffield in accordance with the Agreement Between the Government of Canada and The Government of The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland on British Armed Forces’ Training in Canada and the Memorandum of Understanding Between The Department of National Defence of Canada and The Ministry of Defence of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Concerning British Armed Forces Training at Canadian Forces Base Suffield (the MOU). The resulting Task Authorization Contract will be for the repair, servicing and manufacturing of Miscellaneous Engineering/E&MA/Electricals related Articles used by British Army Training Unit Suffield (BATUS) in the repair and maintenance of British military platforms and equipment holdings at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Suffield. The Direct Repair Scheme (DRS) Canada Miscellaneous Engineering TA will promote the expedient repair of the equipment, whilst reducing the strain on the United Kingdom (UK) supply system, air bridge and BATUS staff at CFB Suffield. The quantities stated in Appendix 1 of Annex A are the estimated annual arising and are best estimates available. No guarantee can be given that the actual arising will occur in the quantities indicated. The period of the Contract is from 2022-10-01 for a 2024-09-30, inclusive plus two additional one year option periods. There are security requirements associated with this requirement. For additional information, consult Part 6 - Security, Financial and Other Requirements, and Part 7 - Resulting Contract Clauses. The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and services. The Phased Bid Compliance Process applies to this requirement. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE.
