ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW Assignment Title: 1278318- Egypt PROBLUE: Cleaner Marine and Coastal Environment EGYPT Awareness Raising and Citizen Engagement in Dahab Assignment Countries:- Egypt, Arab Republic of ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION The World Bank is seeking the services of a Consulting team/NGO/CSO/Organization to implement activities to engage local stakeholders and increase awareness through communication activities and community-based initiatives on the sources and impacts of plastics and pollution (environmental, health and safety, economic, etc.) in the touristic seaside city of Dahab, Egypt. C. Scope of Work 6. The proposed activity will be implemented in Dahab, a popular tourist resort destination. Dahab is a small Egyptian town on the southeast coast of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt. Dahab attracts large number of tourists, both domestic and international tourism, and is considered to be one of Egypts prime diving destinations and is world-renowned for its windsurfing. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals).
