The consultant will undertake environmental and social monitoring and site visits of 6 projects in Bangladesh. The specific tasks related to each site visit will include: 1. Liaise with the assigned MIGSC E&S Specialist to get background information on the project, including key issues and concerns to be addressed during the site visit. 2. Review the most recent monitoring information (Annual Monitoring Report from the client, the last site visits Back to Officer Report (BTOR), and / or Lenders Environmental and Social Consultant (LESC) reports) and a draft agenda provided by the E&S Specialist. 3. Coordinate with the MIGA E&S Specialist and Project Enterprises to plan the timing and logistics of the site visit. 4. Undertake site visit to assess compliance of the Project (as per agenda agreed with MIGA E&S Specialist), which will include a wrap up meeting at the end of the site visit to share findings with the Project Enterprise. Site visits may also include meetings with community stakeholders. 5. Soon after the site visit, participate in a call with MIGA E&S Specialist to summarize key findings and identify and communicate any red flags. 6. Within 10 days of the site visit, prepare and submit a BTOR (template to be provided by MIGSC).
