ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW Assignment Title: 1278028- Namibia Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia Development Southern Corridor Development Initiative (SCDI) Assignment Countries:- Namibia ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION The World Bank is seeking the assistance of a consulting firm with legal/policy expertise to inform and support the Bank's ongoing dialogue with the Government of Namibia regarding its green hydrogen agenda. The firm will support the Bank's dialogue by providing insights regarding: (i) the regulatory, institutional and legal framework governing GH development (including "green" certification pre-requisites); (ii) the Southern Corridor Development Initiative; and (iii) the development of the National Green Hydrogen and Ammonia Strategy. The envisaged consultancy will also cover the provision of just-in-time advisory and market analysis support to expand the knowledge frameworks and models for scaling up green hydrogen and green ammonia in Namibia. TOR is attached. FUNDING SOURCE The World Bank Group intends to finance the assignment / services described below under the following:- BANK BUDGET- ESMAP Trust Fund: Renewable Energy for Building Energy Livelihoods ELIGIBILITY Eligibility restrictions apply:- None INDIVIDUAL / FIRM PROFILE The consultant will be a firm. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications. Interested firms are hereby invited to submit expressions of interest. Expressions of Interest (including all Annexes and Attachments, and in regular font) should be in a single document and no more than 30 pages and total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB, and should be submitted in English, electronically through World Bank Group eConsultant2 (https://wbgeconsult2.worldbank.org/wbgec/index.html).
