ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW Assignment Title: 1278122- Preparatory Assessments to Support the Development of the Blue Economy in Albania Assignment Countries:- Albania ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION The World Bank received a funding from the Italian cooperation to support the preparation of the ALBLUE project. The funding will be dedicated to undertaking a set of activities requested by the Government of Albania and required to set up the institutional and governance framework to develop a sustainable blue economy approach. These activities will also strengthen the analytical basis for the design of the ALBLUE project. The objective of this consultancy will be to implement this set of activities, as described below. Scope of work 1. Activity 1: Valuation of marine natural capital and ecosystem services 2. Activity 2: Preparation of a marine spatial planning 3. Activity 3: Blue economy investment screening and monitoring 4. Activity 4: Design of a multi-sectoral blue economy dashboard 5.
