ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW Assignment Title: 1272733- Recruitment of a Short Term Consultant for Chad livestock TA and Investment climate reforms Assignment Countries:- Chad ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION The assignment will include: 1. Support the implementation of the investment Climate reforms a) Support the overall process of implementation of the Doing Business reform agenda. b) Facilitate coordination of the CMA activities in the country by closely liaising with related government officials / private sector. c) Help with the assessments of Client needs and identify existing gaps, 2. Livestock sector mapping activity a) Develop livestock value chain mapping to identify bottlenecks b) Prepare draft of a working paper to underpin a reform program to attract private investment c) Support the country to implement the reforms. 3. Restructuring of the livestock value chain. a) Support the government to organize stakeholders in the livestock value chain. b) Assist the Country to revise the draft livestock sector-strategy. c) Help building Government technical capacity to collect data on livestock trade. d) Identify client needs and propose/support implementation of solutions.
