ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW Assignment Title: 1271803- Review of "support centers" for small traders in West Africa Assignment Countries:- Burkina Faso- Benin- Ghana- Cote d'Ivoire- Senegal- Togo ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION As part of the Trade Facilitation West Africa program, the proposed assignment is to provide in-depth analysis of relevance, efficiency, impact and sustainability of the following five "support centers" designated to help small traders in the region: Border Information Centers (BICs launched by Borderless Alliance with USAID finance), Monitoring Unit (launched by ECOWAS Commission and The Government of Benin), Maison des Citoyens de la CEDEAO (financed by the Netherlands until 2018 with the sponsorship of Enda-CACID), Information Unit (Abidjan-Lagos Corridor Organization (ALCO), Regional mechanism for monitoring inter-state transport of persons, goods and Livestock in the ECOWAS region (Set up by the initiative of the Ministry of African Integration of Cote d'Ivoire, in collaboration with the Confederation of West African Road Drivers' Union). SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
