Regarding children's mobility, especially early childhood mobility, it is also critical to offer better ways for caregivers to access public spaces and services. The project will also incorporate gender and racial perspectives: research shows that women are the main caregiver for more than 80% of children in early childhood and that black mothers have more difficulties accessing formal work, for the lack of time, opportunities, and safety nets. Improving accessibility on the way to school would help mothers with their daily tasks and save them precious time.
