The Tourism and Business Development Project, financed by the World Bank, aims to increase private investment in tourism sector and to strengthen entrepreneurship/SME ecosystem in Senegal. In this context, the WB wants to support the Government of Senegal in digitization of the tourism value chain. This support aims to improve the capabilities of startups and SMEs by providing technical assistance for firm-level technology adoption and innovation, and by supporting the digitization in the tourism value chain in Senegal. The World Bank is currently seeking a firm to design and deliver training programs on technology adoption and innovation for (i) policy makers and technical staff from relevant government agencies and (ii) local SMEs and startups involved in tourism sector. The training should be in line with COVID-19 pandemic recovery efforts which has accelerated the need to support the transition of tourism enterprises to automation and digital processes. The assignment requires to organize practical coaching, mentoring and training to boost SMEs online presence and support in matchmaking with digital platforms for ecommerce, including information on i) how to onboard and leverage digital platforms; and ii) how to access government support mechanisms/instruments, to allow SMEs to fully leverage existing support resources. A key element of the course will be the sharing of relevant international experiences from other developing, middle-income, or advanced economies. The training course will be both theoretical and practical (study of practical cases and concrete examples, adaptable to the context of the Senegalese tourism sector).   QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: 1.  Provide information showing that they are qualified in the field of the assignment. * 2.  Provide information on the technical and managerial capabilities of the firm. * 3.  Provide information on their core business and years in business. 4.  Provide information on the qualifications of key staff. * 5.  The Consultant (firm) will provide at least two (2) references from similar training assignments and related to Tourism and the digital economy, digital transformation- to show firm qualification.
