ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW Assignment Title: 1274646- Value Chain Analysis in East African Community (EAC), Construction Material Sector Assignment Countries:- Kenya- Tanzania- Uganda- Rwanda- Burundi- South Sudan ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION The main objectives are: 1) to identify which construction materials are critical to the functioning of the construction value chain in the EAC region; 2) Amongst those identified, group them by those that can be competitively produced in the region and those that need to be imported, and 3) to analyze bottlenecks and challenges that need to be addressed with regards to these input materials. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals).
