The project under the “no-wrong door” and “signposting” concepts will aim at promoting business and innovation services of a transnational focus towards SMEs through a range of services and interaction with other members of the Business Support Network (BSN) at EU level and at regional innovation system level. The activities, focused on client, will address strategic objectives: improve the innovation level and competitiveness of SMEs by assessing their business processes and promoting targeted innovation and business development services, suited to their needs and strategies; contribute to a wider internationalization of SMEs, through a strong promotion of EU initiatives and networking, common activities and contacts within the BSN; align EEN added values services with regional, national and European incentive schemes and strategies in order to contribute towards the service self-sustainability; improve the participation of PT SMEs in the European Policy Making Process. The partners will be a key part of the local innovation support ecosystems, delivering value-added services on EU law, policies and programes, including access to EU finance and innovation capacity, international commercial and tech partnering through EU brokerage events and tools and finally a key communication channel for SMEs to express their opinions and problems to the EC. Our aim is to enhance regional entrepreneurial capacity on innovation and internationalization, leading to an increase of employment and companies’ turnover. The EEN-PORTUGAL covers all the country with actions in all work packages.
