The aim of this research project is to evaluate the efficacy of water treatment processes in the removal of endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) bisphenol-A (BPA), 17-beta-estradiol (E2) and nonylphenol (NP), in addition to EDCs from the camphors, parabens and phthalate ester groups of chemicals (as highlighted in Annexe 1). The efficacy of treatment processes for EDCs will be achieved through sampling and analysis of raw and partially treated water.
