Description

To address the existing water supply and sanitation problem, capacity gaps, and low level of sustainability and poor cost recovery of urban water supply and sanitation UNICEF in partnership with KFW has launched a project for expansion and rehabilitation of the existing water supply system and sanitation project for three   towns   including Torit, Yei and Yambio. 

The project is specifically target vulnerable people living in poor urban of Torit town, Yei town and Yambio town. The total direct beneficiaries under the  three towns ‘water supply component will be approximately 90,0000 ( about 30,000 people in each  of the towns )  while the  other indirect beneficiaries as a result of improved WASH services in the target towns will be defined during the feasibility study  phase.  As part of the project UNICEF would like to procure the services of the consultant firm for Feasibility Study, Engineering Design as well as supervision and quality control of construction for three towns (Tori, Yambio & Yei).
