Requirement

The Department of National Defence has a requirement for the regular care and maintenance of approximately 744 fire extinguishers and cylinders including but not limited to inspection, service work, and hydrostatic testing at 19 Wing Comox, Lazo BC and its area of responsibility, for a period of 2 years with options to extend for up to 2 additional year(s).

There are security requirements associated with this requirement as follows:

ESCORTED:
Contractor personnel MAY NOT ENTER NOR PERFORM WORK in areas where
PROTECTED or CLASSIFIED information or assets are kept, without an escort provided by the
department or agency for which the work is being performed.
Where required, escorts will be coordinated through the Project authority or departmental representative and/or DND Security and the costs paid for by DND.

The requirement is limited to Canadian goods and services.

This bid solicitation is to establish a contract with task authorizations for the delivery of the requirement detailed in the bid solicitation to the Identified User herein.
