Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for the first floor fit up at the Government of Canada Building (GOCB) located at 1045 Main St., Moncton, New Brunswick. Work under this contract consists of the construction of interior office space fit-up including flooring, walls, wall finishes, ceilings and all electrical and mechanical modifications.


The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work described in the specifications and drawings for project number R.087055.001. The work is to be completed within 20 weeks of award of the contract.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site and examine the Scope of the Work required and the existing conditions. There will be an optional site visit on December 20, 2018 at 11:00 pm. All interested bidders are to meet at the main entrance of the Moncton GOCB, 1045 Main Street, Moncton, NB. 

Although not mandatory, all contractors wishing to submit a tender for this work are encouraged to attend to become familiar with all aspects of the work. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

Note: If you plan to attend the site visit, please confirm your attendance to Alison Ellis-Herring by e-mail at [email protected] by than 3:00 pm on December 19, 2018.

New measures related to Integrity provisions included in the solicitation documents requires attention.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: $1 000,001.00 to $1,500,000.00 (HST extra). Standard bid and contract security for the construction is required.

A public bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit, Room 4479,4th floor, 1045 Main Street, Moncton, NB.
