TF-B3874 Project ID No.: P174268 The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received financing in the amount of US$ 14.80 million equivalent from the World Bank (GPE Grant) toward the cost of the Bangladesh: COVID-19 School Sector Response (CSSR) Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, non-consulting services and consulting services to be procured under this project. This project will be financed from the GPE COVID-19 Trust Fund under the following components: Component 1: Engaging in Systemic Response, Component 2: Supporting Education Systems Recovery, Component 3: Building System Resilience, Component 4: Project Management, Results Monitoring and Communication. The following activities will be done following open international competitive procurement: No acitivies. Procurement of contracts financed by the World Bank will be conducted through the procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, July 2016, revised November 2017 and August 2018 (Procurement Regulations), and is open to all eligible firms and individuals as defined in the Procurement Regulations.[1] The agreed initial procurement plan and all subsequent updates will be published on the Bank’s external website once the Bank has provided a no objection.   Specific procurement notices for contracts subject to open international competitive procurement will be announced, as they become available, in UN Development Business online, on the World Bank’s external website, Central Procurement Technical Unit (CPTU) website and one Bangla and one English newspaper of national circulation in Bangladesh.
