Der Aufgabenbereich „Entwicklung digitaler Technologien“ im BMWi umfasst die Förderung von Forschungs- und Entwicklungsprojekten im vorwettbewerblichen Bereich. Ziel ist es, Zukunftsthemen der Informations- und Kommunikationstechnik (IKT) frühzeitig aufzugreifen und den Transfer von wissenschaftlichen Ergebnissen hin zu marktorientierten Spitzentechnologien mit hohem Anwendungspotenzial zu beschleunigen.

In den Fördervorhaben sollen technische Machbarkeit und wirtschaftliche Tragfähigkeit pilothaft mit Modellanwendern demonstriert werden.

Die Ergebnisse sollen den Ausgangspunkt für die Schaffung von neuen marktfähigen Produkten, Lösungen und Geschäftsmodellen, insbesondere für die mittelständische Wirtschaft, bieten. Die Zielgruppen sind dabei die IKT-Wirtschaft mit nennenswerten FuE-Aktivitäten in Deutschland und die entsprechenden Anwendungsbranchen.

VII.2.2)Reasons for modification

Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee (Art. 43(1)(c) of Directive 2014/23/EU, Art. 72(1)(c) of Directive 2014/24/EU, Art. 89(1)(c) of Directive 2014/25/EU)

Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances:

Durch die Entsperrung von zusätzlichen Haushaltsmitteln aus dem Konjunktur- und Zukunftspaket (Kopa) im Juli 2021 können weitere Förderaktivitäten im Zusammenhang mit den Maßnahmen zu Kopa 43 für den Bereich "Entwicklung digitaler Technologien" gestartet und durchgeführt werden, die zum Abschluss des 2. Zusatzvertrages im Juni 2021 noch gesperrt waren. Zugleich konnte mit der Initiierung des 2. Zusatzvertrages nicht länger gewartet werden, da der Projektträger bereits dringende zusätzliche Aufgaben gemäß Leistungsbeschreibung übernehmen sollte.
