Verlängerung eines bereits bestehenden Prüfsystems der Dürener Kreisbahn GmbH und der Rurtalbahn GmbH. Im Sommer 2009 wurde die Dürener Kreisbahn GmbH in die Beteiligungsgesellschaft Kreis Düren mbH umfirmiert. Das Prüfsystem wird somit von der Beteiligungsgesellschaft Kreis Düren mbH und der Rurtalbahn GmbH fortgeführt, mit dem Ziel der Erweiterung der Liste qualifizierter Unternehmen für die Erbringung folgender Leistungen: Durchführung von Baumaßnahmen für Bahnsteig-, Gleis- und Straßenbau; Erd- und Kabelverlegearbeiten; Brückenbauarbeiten; Lieferung von Oberbaustoffen für den Gleisbau; Herstellung und Montage von Bahnübergangssicherungstechnik und Zugsicherungstechnik; Haltestellenausrüstung sowie nachrichtentechnischer und elektrotechnischer Ausrüstung.

Conditions to be fulfilled by economic operators in view of their qualification: Die Bewerber müssen nachweislich über langjährige Erfahrung in den o. g. Gewerken verfügen, im ausreichenden Umfang über technische Ausrüstung und qualifiziertes Personal für die Erbringung der geforderten Leistungen sowie über ausreichende Zuverlässigkeit und Fachkunde verfügen und dies durch entsprechende Nachweise und Erklärungen in deutscher Sprache belegen. Bei den Herstellern von Bahnübergangs- und Zugsicherungstechnik sind insbesondere die Zulassungen des Eisenbahn-Bundesamtes bzw. der Landeseisenbahnverwaltung NRW erforderlich.
