1. The Ghana Water Company Limited has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the GAMA Sanitation and Water Project – Additional Financing and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Implementation of Batch 3 Pipeline Works in the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area (Lot 1).
2. The Ghana Water Company Limited now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of a Contractor to Implement Batch 3 Pipeline Works in GAMA (Lot 2);

1. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing” January 2021 edition (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
2. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Ghana Water Company Limited, Ing. Francis Agyei-Boateng ([email protected]), Room 306 and inspect the Bidding document during office hours 0800 to 1700 hours GMT at the address given below.
3. The Bidding document in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of GHS 1200 or USD 200. The method of payment will be Cash or Banker’s draft. The Bidding document will be sent by electronic mail to interested eligible bidders
4. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 10:00hrs GMT on Thursday 17th March 2022. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on Thursday 17th March 2022 at 10:00hrs GMT.
5. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security (Bank Guarantee) of GHS 300,000.00 (Three Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis).
