Greensand Water Filtration System Upgrade - Atlantic Institution, Renous, Northumberland Co., New Brunswick

The work covered under this project consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and materials for the replacement and upgrade of the greensand water filtration system and conversion of the existing raw water storage reservoir to post-filtered water storage reservoir. The work includes but is not necessarily limited to: select site removals, abandonments and relocations; excavation, reinstatement of paved parking lot; all mechanical and electrical installations within the existing building as shown on the Project Drawings; supply and installation of temporary treatment equipment and treated water piping, new air blower and piping, a new oxidative media filtration package, control and instrumentation equipment; supply, installation, and maintenance and subsequent removal of various environmental protection measures. The work location is Atlantic Institution, Renous, Northumberland Co, New Brunswick.  All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.100575.001 forming part of the bid document.  The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within thirty (32) weeks after award.

There will be a site visit on May 04, 2022 at 11:00 hours. Interested bidders are to meet at the principal entrance, Atlantic Institution, 13175 Route 8, Renous, New Brunswick.  No cameras or cell phones will be allowed on the site.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: greater than $1,000,001 - $5,000,000 (HST excluded). Standard bid and contract security for the construction is required.
