Technical assistance for the programme entitled 'Support with improving the competitiveness and trade capacity of MSMEs and cooperatives'

The contract envisages the acquisition of IT equipment and software for storing, managing and maintaining data of the National Quality System and the Ministry of Economy; metrological measurement equipment specific to CENAME and testing equipment for the laboratories of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock (MAGA) and the Ministry of Public Health and Social Security (MSPAS).

The contract comprises of 3 lots:
Lot 1. IT equipment: PCs, servers, racks, wiring, voltage regulators, emergency supplies, laser printers, firewalls, photocopiers and laptops, printers, projectors, software licenses, software, etc.;
Lot 2. Laboratory equipment for the National Quality System for CENAME: thermometers, viscometers, precision balances, mass comparators, set of weights, cells for different temperatures, thermometer bridges, channel expander, temperature baths, force transducer, etc.;
Lot 3. Testing laboratory equipment of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock (MAGA) and the Ministry of Public Health and Social Security (MSPAS): micro-kjeldahl, stoves, micro-soxhlet, fume hoods, minor lab equipment, etc.

Tenderers must include in the quoted price for each lot the installation and verification of the proper functioning of the equipment to be delivered to and installed in the laboratories of: The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock (MAGA) and the Ministry of Public Health and Social Security (MSPAS) of Guatemala. It shall also include in the offered price for each lot training for the staff using the equipment.

Regulation (EU) No 236/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11.3.2014 laying down common rules and procedures for the implementation of the Union's instruments for financing external action, and Regulation (EC) No 1905/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18.12.2006 establishing a financing instrument for development cooperation.
