This Expression of Interest for Haulage Contract Services invites proponents to register their interest in providing haulage services to transfer sawlogs from the Rail at Bomen NSW to major sawmill customers in the Tumut/Tumbarumba region.

Haulage services are required for 3 years with commencement to align with completion of the Rail project estimated to commence in April 2022.

The Expression of Interest will form the first stage of a two stage process with stage two inviting selected proponents to submit further detail that may lead to contract award.

Proponents must register via the Contact Officer as detailed in the supporting document. FCNSW will engage in direct discussions with interested proponents to help clarify the task and explore potential solutions with a proponent.

Proponents must be an existing haulier under contract with FCNSW in the Tumut/Tumbarumba region or an uncontracted haulier with relevant experience.

FCNSW may rely on recent previously submitted details from proponents for other contract proposals or request additional information. 

This RFP process will close on the 10^th December 2021.

The work will be awarded during January 2022

Contract commencement date is subject to proposals with services required when the rail project is complete (anticipated to be April 2022)
