The United Nations World Food Programme hereinafter referred to as the “WFP”, with its Headquarters located in Via C.G. Viola, 68/70, 00148 Rome, Italy is the leading humanitarian organization saving lives and changing lives, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience by assisting almost 100 million people in around 83 countries each year. About 17,000 people work for the organization, most of them in remote areas, directly serving the hungry poor.
IT Division seeks interested and reputable suppliers, manufactures, hardware and service providers, authorized dealers, resellers or other technology companies with strong global experience in provisioning of Computer Hardware LENOVO and DELL brands, Peripheral, Accessories, Spare parts and related SPM, IMAC and disposal services.
Spare parts managements and IMAC Services should be, preferably offered as an option and an ability to deliver on-site support and life cycle management services are desirable.
In addition, we seek proven ability to ship and operate with customs in the countries where WFP operates. Proven prior experience with government entities and UN will be considered.
WFP invites eligible suppliers to express their interest in providing the requested goods and services.
The purpose of this request for EOI is to identify suppliers with verified technical and financial capacity to provide the subject goods and services. Eligible suppliers will be invited to participate in the bidding process for the proposed tender.
Eligibility to participate in the proposed tender will be determined on the basis of the capacity to provide the goods and services, the compliance with the UN policies, the cost-to-quality ratio and discount possibility and the added value during the supply and for life-cycle management.
