Description

Background

Assisting 80 Million People in around 80 countries each year, the World Food Programme (WFP) is the leading humanitarian organization fighting hunger worldwide, delivering food assistance in emergencies and working with communities to improve nutrition and build resilience.

The IT Division carries a constant update of the internal Business Process with the goal to maintain WFP internal practices up to date and ensure their effectiveness.

The Business Process Mapping System (BPMS) allows WFP processes to be clearly defined in a structured and methodologically standardized manner which makes them easier to be managed and maintained.

With the goal of improving WFP’s capacity to document and improve its procedures, the IT Division purchased ProVision v 9.1 software to ensure WFP uses a common methodology for corporate initiatives that change the way people work.
