Missile Defense Agency - Aug. 30, 2019 Contract Announcement

            The Boeing Company, Huntsville, Alabama, is being awarded a competitive firm-fixed-price contract. The total value of this contract is $4,356,864.00. Under this new contract, the contractor will further develop and refine their Hypersonic Defense Weapon Systems Concept Definition White Paper titled "Hypervelocity Interceptor (HYVINT) Concept for Hypersonic Weapons". The work will be performed in Huntsville, Alabama with an estimated completion date of May 2, 2020. The performance period is from  Sept 3, 2019 through May 2, 2020.  This contract was competitively procured via publication on the Federal Business Opportunities website under the MDA's Special Topic Broad Agency Announcement for Concept Definition for Hypersonic Defense Weapon Systems, HQ0147-18-S-0001. Fiscal year 2019 Research, Development, Test and Evaluation funds in the amount of $4,356,864.00 are being obligated at the time of award.
