The project is divided into six phases which has their own delivery dates:

Phase 1: Building of a new berm breakwater west of existence breakwater.

Deliver date is 15th of Sptember 2022.

Phase 2: Construction of a road on the harbour side of Suðurvarargarður.

Deliver date is 1st of Oktober 2022.

Phase 3: Dredging behind Suðurvarabryggja quay to -5,0 m

Deliver date is 1st of May 2023.

Phase 4: Remove of Suðurvarabryggja quay which is made of concrete casions.

Deliver date is 15th of June 2023.

Phase 5: Remove the cofferdam on the breakwater end

Deliver date is 15th of August 2023.

Phase 6: Lengthen of the Suðurvaragarður berm breakwater of 250 m.

Deliver date is 15th of November 2023.
