(Purchase of Furniture to be used for EPI Health Facilities in Pakistan) The World Health Organization Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean (WHO/EMRO) seeks offers for the Purchase of Furniture to be used for EPI Health Facilities in Pakistan, as per the attached specifications under (Annex 1-List for Technical assessment). Technical offers and other details can be added as annexes. • Offers are accepted in USD or any UN convertible currency. Local suppliers should submit their offers in PKR. • Offers must comply with the requirements stated in the attached Invitation to Bid (ITB). INCOTERMS 2021: - WHO incoterm is DDP Pakistan sites. SELECTION/REJECTION CRITERIA 1. Offers not meeting the required specifications will not be considered. 2. Only complete offers that contain the detailed technical specifications, manufacturer, country of origin will be considered. 3. Offers with delivery more than 60 days may not be considered. 4. Bidders shall submit their proposal DDP (WHO Warehouse Islamabad) (INCOTERMS 2020). 5. The evaluation of items meeting the required specifications and approved by technical panel will depend on the price (80%) and the delivery period (20%). 6. Offers should be valid for one year and can be extendable based on supplier’s evaluation satisfactory. 7. Unit price should include Transportation charges to WHO Country Office-Warehouse Islamabad Pakistan. 8. No separate transportation cost will be added in the offers. 9. WHO can raise the multiple POs out of the total quantity or one PO asking for partial delivery as and when required basis during the offer validity period. 10. WHO would not be liable to provide any tax exemptions. 11. Singed/stamped offers on company letterhead will only be acceptable. 12. Upon request by the WHO, the supplier will have to submit the samples to the WHO Country Office Islamabad within 05 working days. Prior written approval is mandatory to submit the samples. Samples will be accepted in proper packing and having labelled information of ITB number and Supplier name. 13. The supplier must provide proof of the availability of international standards and large enough warehouse facility. And undertaking for the storage of items for the duration WHO completes its distribution to the more than 900 Health Centers across Pakistan and that may take 5-8 months UN CODE OF CONDUCT: Confirmation of acceptance that your esteemed company accepts the terms mentioned in the attached UN Code of Conduct, must be received in the same letter containing your bid.
