The requirement will be sole sourced to Carestream Health, Inc., 150 Verona St., Rochester, NY 14608. Carestream Health, Inc. will provide replacement parts to the Robley Rex VAMC for detectors on high definition portable x-ray units, to include supplemental coverage for detector head impact/drop/collision resulting in damage and subsequent replacement. All warranties and guarantees on the system are voided if an unauthorized third-party vendor is engaged. See attached sole source justification.

This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 and 13.106-1(b) (2), soliciting from a single source. The NAICS code is 811219 and has a size standard of $22M for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 2:00p.m. CST, October 4, 2019 to: [email protected]. Responses received will be evaluated; however, any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
