United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified companies to submit sealed tenders as follows: Under the project “Strengthening Science and Mathematics in Primary Education” in Timor-Leste,

UNESCO is establishing 9 Learning Laboratories for Science and Mathematics for Primary Education in 9 municipalities in Timor Leste.

Each learning laboratory is constituted of five laboratory kits namely, biology, mathematics, chemistry, geology and physics. This activity includes: 1.procuring Science & Mathematics Laboratory Kits with following specifications:

a. 9 biology laboratory kits according to the specifications and quantity described in Lot #1 (Form AM 10-12, Annex IV, Lot 1 attached). b. 9 mathematics laboratory kits according to the specifications and quantity described in Lot #2 (Form AM 10-12, Annex IV, Lot 2 attached). c. 9 chemistry laboratory kits according to the specifications and quantity described in Lot #3 (Form AM 10-12, Annex IV, Lot 3 attached). d. 9 geology laboratory kits according to the specifications and quantity described in Lot #4 (Form AM 10-12, Annex IV, Lot 4 attached). e. 9 physics laboratory kits according to the specifications and quantity described in Lot #5 (Form AM 10-12, Annex IV, Lot 5 attached).

2.Delivery of the science and mathematics laboratory kits to Timor-Leste National Commission for UNESCO, C/O Balide, Resintu INFORDEPE Dili, Timor-Leste.

The purpose of this notice is to provide general information on the requirements for the procurement process and to inform interested suppliers how to obtain a copy of the Solicitation Documents. Interested companies who wish to participate in the OIC must request for a complete set of Solicitation Documents, available free of charge, from UNESCO contact person at the address shown below. - 2 - Your Electronic Bid (e-bid) submitted via email should reach the following address [email protected] no later than 31 December 2021, 17:00 GMT+7, in strict compliance with the instructions as stipulated in the Solicitation Documents. UNESCO reserves the right to amend the documents at any time during the solicitation process.

Any amendments or clarifications will be communicated directly to all Bidders who have requested for a complete set of solicitation documents and officially confirmed their intention to submit a sealed tender. No remuneration will be made to companies for preparation and submission of their tenders.
