  Invitation for Bids- Rebidding Date: 19 May 2021 Loan No. and Title: 53118-GEO: Livable Cities Investment Project for Balanced Development Contract No. and Title: LCIP/CW/01-2021: Construction of Kindergarten in Kutaisi, Avtokarkhana District Deadline for Submission of Bids: 21 June 2020, 12:00 Hours (Tbilisi time) 1.    The Government of Georgia has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Livable Cities Investment Project for Balanced Development. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.  2.    The Municipal Development Fund of Georgia (“the Employer”) invites electronically sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of Kindergarten in Kutaisi, Avtokarkhana District (“the Works”). The works intended to be constructed consists of Building works including water supply, sanitation, electric works and landscaping.  3.    Open competitive bidding (national advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.  4.    Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications should participate in this bidding:  ●     Minimum average annual construction turnover of GEL 5,500,000 calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last three (3) years. ●     Financial Resources Requirement: The Bidder must demonstrate that it has the financial resources to meet: (a) its current contract commitments, plus (b) the requirements for the Subject Contract of GEL 700,000. ●     Participation as a contractor, Joint Venture partner, or Subcontractor, in at least one (1) similar contract that have been successfully or substantially completed within the last five (5) years and that are similar to the proposed works, where the value of the Bidder’s participation exceeds GEL 2,400,000. The similarity of the Bidder’s participation shall be considered if the single work contract includes: (1) construction of public buildings or institutional buildings; and (2) water supply, drainage, firefighting, and landscaping. 5.    To obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents, Bidders should submit request only through the Georgian electronic Government Procurement (Ge-GP) system http://procurement.gov.ge/.   6.    Bidding Documents are available for download from the Georgian E-Government Procurement System from 19 May 2021 to 21 June 2021 free of charge. The Bidding Documents are available in English and Georgian languages.
