The United Nations (UN) is seeking services of qualified hospitals to provide Level 3 and/or 4 healthcare for personnel and eligible dependents of its entities operating in the North Africa region. The participating entities shall include UN Missions, Offices, Agencies, Funds and Programs; and related Organizations, and shall collectively be referred to as "The UN”. The UN definition of Level 3 health care includes multidisciplinary surgical services, specialist diagnostic services, increased high-dependency care, extended intensive care services, and specialist outpatient services. In addition to the above services, L4 healthcare includes reconstruction, rehabilitation, and convalescence. Full detailed requirements will be provided in the upcoming solicitation document.
