1. The United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon (UNIFIL) Headquarters Naqoura is seeking a non-exclusive waste collection services contract including Hazardous waste collection, transportation, storage (where needed), recycling, recovery, treatment, and/or disposal in strict compliance and in accordance with UNIFIL Environmental Standards, Lebanese Rules and regulations and international environmental treaties to which Lebanon is a party. 2. The contract shall be of initial duration of three years (3) with two (2) one-year (1+1) optional periods at the sole discretion of UNIFIL, the maximum contract duration shall be five (5) years. 3. UNIFIL will undertake a competitive solicitation exercise shortly and consider inviting those companies that have expressed their interest and provided initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNIFIL’s requirement. 4.
