The contractor shall provide all personnel, tools, parts, transportation, supplies, equipment, travel, supervision and management, unless otherwise specified, operational sustainment, maintenance, training and coordination activities for the MAFFS II program in support of national wildland fire suppression efforts when primary air resources are exhausted.  The MAFFS II program must be able to respond 100% of the time if activated.  Work includes inspection, maintenance, repair, inventory management, engineering support, training and coordination activities to ensure operational readiness for eight (8) Modular Airborne Firefighting Systems, second generation, and associated ground equipment during fire season and throughout the year.  Additionally, anything needed to perform the work in accordance with the schedule of items, specifications, terms, conditions, provisions and attachments as shown in the solicitation.

NAICS Code is 488190 – Other Support Activities for Air Transportation with a small business size standard of $35M.

The Government is issuing this solicitation as a 100% Small Business Set-aside.

The resultant contract, if any, will be a single award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) firm fixed price (FFP) contract with a proposed period of performance of twelve (12) months base with four (4) twelve (12) month option periods.
