Magnetic Particle Benches

The Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) has a requirement for purchase and delivery of eight (8) magnetic particle wet benches to conduct nondestructive testing magnetic particle inspections. With an option to purchase an additional quantity two (2) between April1st, 2022 and March 31st, 2023.  Installation is not required.

The bidder must demonstrate that they meet every mandatory technical evaluation criteria in their bid by submitting supporting documentation.  Failure to provide supporting documentation by bid closing date will result in the bid being deemed non-responsive.

Some of the criteria include:

(a) Three phase, full wave direct current (FWDC) rectification up to 6,000 amperes with selectable A/C waveform mode with up to 2,500 amps.
(b) One (1) ammeter
(c) Contact and coil output modes including independently selectable output dials and ammeter display for circular and longitudinal field strengths
(d) Five cable wraps on coil
(e) Current (amperage) “on” safety indicator light

This contract has a security requirement:

At the date of bid closing, the following conditions must be met:

(a) the Bidder must hold a valid organization security clearance as indicated in Part 6 - Resulting Contract Clauses;

(b) the Bidder's proposed individuals requiring access to classified or protected information, assets or sensitive work sites must meet the security requirements as indicated in Part 6 - Resulting Contract Clauses;

(c) the Bidder must provide the name of all individuals who will require access to classified or protected information, assets or sensitive work sites;
