Prior Information Notice - 4th National Cyber Security Summit
The Malta Information Technology Agency (MITA) wishes to launch a project for interested suppliers for the organization of the fourth edition of the National Cyber Security Summit, which will be a two-day event scheduled for October 2022. This event will be targeting a wide range of audiences (both nationally and internationally) ranging from executives, policy makers, academia, researchers and innovators, technical people, and anyone interested in hands-on cyber security or having a flair for cybersecurity.
In light of the evolving cyber security threat landscape that continues to intensify from year to year, this Summit will give the opportunity to the national and international cyber security community to exchange experiences over these two days, whilst following professionals in the field explain and discuss specific emerging topics. Also, the community will have the opportunity to experience solutions offered by exhibitors. Such a Summit would set Malta in the limelight of the globe, showcasing Malta’s priorities in this domain for the years to come, in line with the priorities of the National Cyber Security Strategy.
MITA shall be responsible for the choice of the venue where the Summit would be convened with various halls, terraces, and different allocated rooms for the breakout sessions.
This event will involve speakers, panelists, and moderators from all around the globe enticing attendees with different topics and sessions for two full days. At the end of Day 1, there will be a social event which will serve as a networking activity. This Summit will also involve the participation of partners who will be divided between gold, silver, and bronze packages. These will have stands in the Summit venue.
This Summit is foreseen to generate income from tickets and partners; thus, an accreditation and ticketing system is foreseen.
Coverage in renowned printed media and by international media houses is expected to give this Summit international promotion and reporting of the event.
