Special Notice
1.0 NOTICE: This is an announcement of an industry day for the MJU-75/B MTV based Countermeasure Flare.
2.0 PROGRAM DETAILS:
2.1 The Expendable Countermeasures Systems Program Office (XCM SPO) is responsible for providing expendable countermeasures with the purpose of self-protection of all Air Force air frames against heat seeking guided missiles.
3.0 INDUSTRY DAY:
3.1 The XCM SPO, AFLCMC/EBHCC at Hill AFB, Utah is holding an industry day 22-24 October 2019 for parties interested in MJU-75/B flare production program. The MJU-75/B is a build to print design. The purpose of the industry day is to meet with the flare industry to discuss MJU-75/B flare design and testing requirements. This Industry Day is restricted to United States of America (USA) based companies who can produce the MJU-75/B within the USA. Only US citizens may attend.
3.2 Each party must submit a Registration Form (provided) to Lauren Johnston, [email protected], Brooke McIntire, [email protected] or Sibel Wright, [email protected] no later than 4:00 pm (MT) on 15 October 2019. Attendees will need visitor access or appropriate ID and current vehicle registration for gate entrance. Visitor access information will be provided by 17 October 2019.
3.3 The industry day will consist of group discussions and breakout sessions (see Industry Day Schedule). All information briefed or discussed in both the group discussions and breakout sessions will be unclassified. The group discussions will consist of a MJU-75/B new design, production, testing, contract information and question/answers.
3.4 Breakout sessions will be for MJU-75/B discussions only. Interested parties should bring individuals with a working knowledge of flare testing and production. No sales or marketing discussions will take place. Interested parties must submit a request for a breakout session via email to Lauren Johnston, [email protected]@us.af.mil, no later 4:00 pm (MT) on 15
October 2019. Breakout session time slots will be populated by order of requests (see Industry
Day Schedule). A final Industry Day Schedule will be posted to FBO on 17 October 2019.
4.0. Questions and responses may be submitted to the undersigned upon publication of this
notice, but are requested no later than Tuesday, 15 October 2019.
