Overview : UNDP Vietnam is seeking for 01 National Medical Equipment Technical Consultant to support COVID-19 health procurement. (Ref. 3-210802) The UNDP Viet Nam Country Office (CO) is supporting Viet Nam’s COVID-19 response across five key areas, including health crisis support and systems strengthening, social protection, green economy, governance, and digital transformation. This has included emergency procurement of Global Fund-supported RT-PCR machines for the Ministry of Health (MOH) of Viet Nam’s COVID-19 response, drawing on UNDP’s global procurement architecture and QA Policy. The objective of this assignment is to provide technical support to UNDP and MOH on emergency procurement of health commodities for COVID-19 response that UNDP is purchasing on behalf of MOH under the Government financing budget. The assistance is provided to development of technical specifications for procurement plan, identifying relevant documents that are in line with technical requirement set in the procurement plan, and facilitate registration process if any. The selection will be based on a competitive basis and will comply with UNDP procurement regulations.
