  1. Government of Nepal has received a credit from International Development Association towards the cost of Nepal Livestock Sector Innovation Project and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for the Procurement and installation of backup system for Cold rooms, Seed processing unit and Regional laboratories. Bidding is open to all eligible Bidders from all countries as defined in the World Bank’s “Procurement Guidelines” January 2011 (Revised July 2014).
  2. The Nepal Livestock Sector Innovation Project now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement and installation of backup system for Cold rooms, Seed processing unit and Regional laboratories. to be procured under National competitive bidding procedures specified in Public Procurement Act and Regulations.
  3. Eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the office of Nepal Livestock Sector Innovation Project, during office hours at the address given below or may visit PPMO e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp.
  4. Bidder to submit their bid electronically may download the bidding documents for e-submission of PPMO’s e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp. Bidders, submitting their bid electronically, should deposit the cost of bidding document upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of NPR 5,000.00 (In words: NPR Five Thousand Only) deposited at Everest Bank, New Baneshwar Branch, Office account Number 00100106200000, Office Code: 312003503, Revenue Classification Number: 14229.
  5. Pre-bid meeting shall be held at May 5, 2022 at the address given below at 14.00 hrs.
  6. Electronic bids must be submitted to the office address as below through PPMO’s e-GP system www.bolpatra.gov.np/egp on or before 12.00 hrs, May 22, 2022. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
  7. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below at 12.30 hrs on May 22, 2022.
  8. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of bid opening and must be accompanied by a scanned copy of the bid security in pdf format, amounting to a minimum of for 565,000.00 issued by “A” class commercial Bank or Financial Institutions with Validity Period of 120 days from the opening date of bids i.e. up to September 18, 2022. For Cash deposit of bid security Banking details are as follows: Rastriya Banijya Bank, Singhdurbar, Account Number: 1960100102030000.
  9. The project reserves the right to accept or reject the bids without assigning reason, whatsoever
