Tender Details

Insurance and Care NSW (“icare”) is a public financial corporation governed by an independent Board of Directors that delivers insurance and care services for the people of NSW. icare was established by the State Insurance and Care Governance Act 2015 (the “Act”) in September 2015 as part of the NSW Government’s reforms to consolidate the NSW insurance and care schemes. icare operates and provides services for the NSW Government’s insurance and care schemes.

The NSW workers compensation scheme (Nominal Insurer) is the single largest workers compensation insurer in NSW. Around 329,000 employers and over 3.6 million workers are covered by the scheme.
